FRESNO, CA – Revived Organization is proud to announce that we have received a 2024 Expanded Access to Arts and Culture grant, funded by Measure P and administered by the Fresno Arts Council. Revived Organization was awarded the Emerging Project Support grant to support Stitching Through Time, a fashion show and textile exhibition surrounding paj ntaub, or needlework. The show is a project that aims to showcase art and creativity as a bridge to closing the generation gap within our community, offering a cultural experience that allows artisans, from youth to seniors, and the broader community to recognize and appreciate the growth and pathways that Hmong textile artistry have given way to the culture throughout generations.

Expanded Access to Arts and Culture (EAAC) grants totaling $9,461,420.90 have been awarded to 112 arts and culture organizations and projects in the city of Fresno. This is the first ever disbursement of Expanded Access to Arts and Culture grants funded by Measure P, the sales tax initiative approved by City of Fresno voters in 2018, which sets aside 12% of collected funds to support cultural arts in Fresno for thirty years. Visit Fresno Arts Council’s website to view a complete list of grant recipients at https://www.fresnoartscouncil.org/artsandculturegrants.

Revived Organization is very excited and grateful to be a recipient of the EAAC grant. We believe it is essential to celebrate and highlight the diverse perspectives that contribute to our community. By creating a vital space for Hmong artists and designers within the Fresno art scene, we hope to inspire all generations to cherish and uplift the arts in all facets of life, from education to professional endeavors.
